German Spaetzle
with cheese, fried onions and pickles

1 Onion

1 Tbsp Butter

200 g Grated Cheese

1 Bunch Chives

4 Tbsp Kühne Fried Onions
Preparation
Cook spätzle in salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then rinse under cold water.
Peel and finely dice the onion, sauté in butter for 5 minutes until translucent. Add the spätzle and fry for 5 minutes until golden. Add the cheese and continue cooking until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Slice the chives finely. Sprinkle the Kässpätzle with chives and Kühne roasted onions before serving.
